Happy Homemaker Monday

          Hi friends!!  For those who stopped by earlier today, you got the whole long explanation of why I've been so hit or miss on blogger over the last two years.  It was a hard and very vulnerable post...  I decided I would leave it up for a few hours in hopes that those who actually remembered my blog and had checked in from time to time would read it and understand why I've struggled for some time now.  Yet, like most vulnerable stories- I didn't want it to have a permanent place on my blog...  and as it goes with moving on from things, I'm putting it behind me and moving forward.  I do covet your prayers. What happened in our lives changed the pattern of our lives and it will never be the same going forward- so sometimes I second guess myself and decide to isolate.  So if you have a chance to pray, pray that God will sustain me through my changing seasons, and allow me to mend my heart, and share it again with all of you.  I'm so thankful for the life God has given me, and even in the hard times He has still sustained and held us up.  Blogging was a hobby of mine that did my heart good, but since 2024 I've struggled getting back on board.  

   Here I am- new blog with some of my old blogs uploaded- no followers and ready to jump back in again.  For those who read my last post, thank you for reading, for your kind words- they mean the world to me!  Those who didn't, thank for checking in today, and I'm thankful that you are here and hope you will follow along as I start some new things in my journey of finding myself even though I kind of lost myself in a really hard situation for awhile.

The weather ♥
It was very hot last week!  My boys actually got another pool day out of it though, so that was a positive thing!  I am very ready for fall though, It's cool this morning which is dreamy!  I have my windows open and a fall candle lit.  It's a nice morning.  


As I look outside my window:::
   God has given us such a gorgeous day!  The sun is shining and the flowers are still in bloom!  The grass and trees are green.  Yet there's still the crispness in the air- its just beautiful.  

Right now I am:::
Tying this post, enjoying the quiet as my son and husband are busy working on school.  A little fearful about the personal post I shared and hoping that it is met with care.  

Something fun to share (a blog, a video, a tip):::

  With my daughter and grandson here last week I wasn't on the internet very much at all!  Hopefully I'll have something fun to share next week!  

Thinking and pondering:::
  I shared a lot of that earlier lol!  Thinking on how I want to use my blog going forward!  Pondering on how it is a wonderful creative outlet, and excited to spend some downtime today visiting some other blogs!  Also that I need to share our revival last week..  that's a post in itself!  I'm excited about my blog journey, and praying God will give me the strength not to abandon it and isolate myself again out of fear...  
Has anyone been through a similar situation before that was confusing and hard to come back from?  I'm so worried that it won't be received well.

On my bedside table:::
  Just a cup and the normal things, ChapStick, lotion, a lamp and possibly my kindle.

   Back at it soon I hope!

On my tv:::
   Just reruns of the Office, and football of course.  Tis the season!  Miami hasn't been doing great this season :(

  The sound of my windchimes outside are divine!

Thursday: Chicken pastry

Saturday: Sportsman banquet at church


On my to do list:::
Clean and paint my cabinets!  I'm going to try and make that a priority!  I've needed to do that for WEEKS!


What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::

I've always thought creating a blog was a creative thing.  I'm not very crafty outside of digital arts lol.  


My simple pleasure:::
   Just enjoying time with my kids.  I know all too well that these years of them being home are winding down so I'm trying hard to soak it all in.  Also, blogging.  When I let myself enjoy it!

Looking around the house:::
It looks pretty good!  We did our morning restart, but its actually pretty clean!  At least it is downstairs lol I'm not sure what upstairs may look like!


From the camera:::

   Friday nights we have upward flag football in my backyard.  It is overwhelming how wonderful this ministry has been!  This is what my yard looks like on Friday Nights!  

Last Thursday our church made a cake to celebrate my husbands third year of pastoring this sweet church!  It was so kind!  It's been a GREAT three years for us!  

We had a great week with the grandbaby!
